If this sounds like your week
Your clipboard is where snippets, hex codes, and paths go to die.
You copy a token, a color value, a file path, a code fragment — then copy something else, and the first one is gone. The default Windows clipboard keeps 25 items, unsearchable, and forgets them all on reboot, which is a poor fit for a coding day full of small reusable fragments.
Where tooling usually breaks
Re-finding the same snippet breaks your flow.
Hunting back through files for that connection string or hex value you definitely copied earlier is exactly the kind of context-switch that wrecks focus. A scratchpad doc helps a little, until it becomes its own mess.
