If this sounds like your week
Windows says "file in use" — and the culprit is Windows Search indexing.
You try to delete or move a file and Windows blocks you with a vague "the action can't be completed because the file is open in another program." Nothing of yours is open. The real holder is usually a background service — Windows Search indexing — quietly keeping a handle on the file while it syncs, scans, or indexes.
Where tooling usually breaks
The dialog names no name. So you start closing things at random.
You close apps you don't even think are involved, pause sync, maybe reboot — the shotgun approach that wastes ten minutes and teaches you nothing. Task Manager shows processes but not which one holds *this* file, so you're guessing.
